Arayaal” Alumni Meet 2023 

On the 11th of February 2023, LISSAH College hosted its much-awaited Alumni Meet, fondly named "ARAYAAL," a celebration of nostalgia and camaraderie among its esteemed alumni. The event began with a ceremonial inauguration by Rev. Fr. Jose Melettukochyl, who has played a pivotal role in the growth and development of the college. His presence added a sense of history and reverence to the occasion. Dr. Benny Joseph, the Association President, presided over the ceremony and delivered an opening address. He warmly welcomed the alumni, faculty, and staff and expressed his gratitude for their continued support to the institution.

The heart of the event was an interactive session where alumni from various batches shared their cherished memories of their time at LISSAH College. Stories of friendship, academic achievements, and personal growth echoed through the hall, creating an atmosphere of nostalgia and unity.

The alumni engaged in a productive discussion regarding the future endeavors of the LISSAH Alumni Association and what they can do collectively for the overall development of their beloved institution. Several ideas were brainstormed, including fundraising efforts, mentorship programs, and collaborative projects with the college.

After the formal proceedings, alumni had the opportunity to reconnect and network with old friends and batch-mates. The event provided a platform for alumni to exchange ideas, discuss potential collaborations, and reminisce about their college days. A delectable lunch was served, further enhancing the camaraderie and offering a relaxed setting for informal networking among alumni.

The event ended on a note of optimism, with alumni expressing their commitment to supporting LISSAH College in its future endeavors. It was a day filled with fond memories, meaningful connections, and a reaffirmation of the enduring spirit of LISSAH's alumni.

Meet your Alumni – Yasir Sidheequee  

Department of English in association with the Alumni Association and Student of English association had organised an interactive session for the students titled "Meet Your Alumni" to facilitate interaction between current students and accomplished alumni on the 13th of October 2021. The event aimed to inspire and motivate current students by showcasing the success stories of our former students who have excelled in their respective fields.

The guest speaker for this event was Mr. Yasir Sidheequee, an esteemed alumnus of our institution who is currently working at Apple LLC in Hyderabad. Mr. Sidheequee works as "Language Enhancement Engineer" who plays a vital role in training Siri for language improvemen 


Refazer LISSAH Alumni Meet 2K22 


The Alumni Association of LISSAH College organised "Refazer" LISSAH Alumni meet - a programme to facilitate, consolidate and coordinate Alumni Activities at LISSAH College on 15th May 2022. The registration was through Google form shared via Social Media platforms of LISSAH Alumni.

The alumni working in various fields in the world have joined this program. More than 80 alumni have been participated in this event. The official meeting was inaugurated by Founder Director of LISSAH Rev. Fr. Jose Melettukochyil. He opinioned these types of meetings are very useful for transferring the knowledge through Alumni and social commitment between the college and the student. Alumni from various parts of the world facilitated the event and shared their memories when they were at LISSAH. The Principal of LISSAH Dr. Benny Joseph emphasised that alumni is an important stakeholder of the education system in improving the quality of not only the Teaching-Learning–Evaluation system but also the students experience on the campus in variegated ways. The alumni offered all kind of helps to LISSAH family and greeted very best to future endeavours.


ALUMNI CONTRIBUTED DEPARTMENT LIBRARY IN MEMORY OF LATE ALUMNUS


The Alumni of Social Work Department of LISSAH established a department library in memory of late Fr. Ebin Kuzhimulliyil CST- one of the LISSAH alumni from Social Work department. A book donation function was organised at LISSAH college on 14th May 2022 in which a prized collection of books were gifted to the social work department.  15 alumni from 2011-13 and 2012-14 batches were present on this occasion and shared lovely memories of their beloved friend. The association has named the library after Fr. Ebin.
